EMR Support/Training Specialist
Duties:
- Providing technical support to end users via phone, email, fax, support ticketing system.
- Performing trouble shooting, diagnostics, customization, minor development, remote/onsite training (some U.S. travel).
- Documenting customer calls/emails, inquiries and resolutions into company support system.
- Testing and reporting errors and bugs.
- Learning and supporting new modules and products.
Skills/Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years health care or phone based customer service experience.
- Ability to thrive in a high, call volume environment.
- Strong problem solving skills and analytical abilities to research and determine an appropriate course of action in a variety of situations.
- Good time management and abilities to handle multi-tasks.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Fast learner
- Proactive, detailed, and organized
- Must be a team player.
- Prior experience providing PC software support services for operating system platforms including Microsoft Windows XP Pro, Windows 7 Pro, Windows Server 2008 R2; Experience supporting network printers and network drive mapping; and understanding and experience with Web-based communications is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft SQL
- Understanding of Medical billing, Clinical workflow, HIPAA is a plus.
- A college degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems.
- Knowledge of medical billing or insurance.

Windows System Administrator
Duties:
- Candidate must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to prioritize issues appropriately.
- Team player with a strong work ethic that can operate with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience providing support in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Superior troubleshooting abilities in both hardware and software.
- Knowledge of network devices and troubleshooting – firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Ongoing desire to stay current with the latest technologies.
- Willingness to work evening and night shift hours for trading hour shift coverage and occasional weekends for project work.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
Skills/Requirements:
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting all Window Server Operating Systems.
- Experience troubleshooting Active Directory, MS Exchange.
- Experience with administration of Hyper-V, and VMWare.
- Experience with Thin Client Terminals and Virtual Desktops.
- Experience with Terminal Servers.
- Experience with remote support solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
This position will work with a growing Information Technology team in the Healthcare software industry. Our clients are medical practices nationwide using our software. You will be maintaining and expanding a diverse network infrastructure and provide telephone, desktop, remote and, when necessary, onsite support to our clients. You must be open to working at all levels of support and different types of projects – both desktop and server related.
